Bio

As you can probably tell, I'm inspired by nature. I use it to make my magic and conjure my stories. I chat it up with the trees, the birds, or that squirrel who pops into my backyard to say hi, but still won't take the almonds I leave for him on my fence. They all bring something unique to me and inspire me to write.

Author Bio

Monica is a writer from the hub of wine country in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. With her most recent publication in 2020, Homeschool By Design, she was featured on 8 TV segments supporting families as they transitioned to educating their children from home. A homeschooling mother of 2 boys, she loves to travel and go on ghost walks in every city they visit.

Screenwriting Bio

Monica is a writer from the hub of wine country in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. In 2022, she wrote and co-produced two short films accepted into over 20 film festivals worldwide. Additionally, her script "INVITED" was produced in 2023 and was nominated for Best Screenplay at the Blood in the Snow Film Festival in Toronto in 2024, where it had its world premiere. It is now streaming on FOUND TV, Tubi, and Amazon.
